Chad McCumbee, The 22 year old Supply, N.C. -native has been racing since he was 10 years old. Chad McCumbee has won state and national World Karting Association races, Allison Legacy regional and national championships throughout 2001 and 2002. He was the youngest late model winner at Myrtle Beach Speedway, and won a Bud Pole in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2005, finishing fourth in the series points.
Though 2006 had a rocky start for McCumbee, he found success at Green Light Racing over the summer months and with the help of The GPS Store and Garmin he began to prove himself as a serious contender for Rookie of the Year where he eventually finished as runner up to Roush racing's Eric Darnell. Along the way Chad captured 9 top 15 finishes as well as 3 top 10 finishes and if not for some mechanical problems Chad was in contention for 5 or 6 more.
Now looking forward to 2007, Chad has again signed on with Green Light Racing with the goal of capturing the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship. Chad's incredible talent and desire to win, along with his great personality make him a serious contender and a fun driver to root for as well.
