Expandable Network System for Smaller Boats!
The Furuno NavNet vx2 1724C NT and 1734CNT are the perfect network system for small boats. The heart of the Furuno NavNet vx2 1724CNT and 1734CNT is the 7” Color TFT LCD, display with a 640 x 480 resolution. The Furuno NavNet vx2 will accept C-Map Max charts for exceptional marine detail. The 1724CNT and 1734CNT are very easy to use, with the rotary knob for faster selection and number entry, and every NavNet comes with a remote control. The Furuno NavNet vx2 1724CNT and 1734CNT systems are all full featured marine radar with radome antennas, and then you can add other options or more displays to expand your NavNet vx2 Network System.
Furuno 1724CNT- The Furuno 1724CNT comes with a 2.2 kW(18") radome, and also with a beautiful 7" color, sunlight viewable VGA display. The 2.2kW radome has 5.2 degree horizontal and a 25 degree vertical beamwidth, the lower the horizontal beamwidth the better your target separation. The 2.2kW radome has the ability to adjust the rotation speed based on the range in use, 30rpm in short range and 24rpm in mid to long ranges, which allows a faster refresh of the display when on a shorter range. The Furuno NavNet 1724CNT also will allow you to set up target or echo trails with selectable time intervals and you can set Watchman Mode for security and safety. Watchman mode will allow you to set the radar to transmit for one minute; if the radar picks up a target within a guard zone it will sound an alarm. If no targets show up the unit will go into standby and start transmitting again after a period of time set by the user.
Furuno 1734CNT- The Furuno 1734CNT comes with a 4 kW(24") radome and also a beautiful 7" color, sunlight viewable VGA display. The 4kW radome has a 3.9 degree horizontal and a 20 degree vertical beamwidth, offering excellent target separation in a radome style antenna. The Furuno NavNet 1734CNT also allows you to set up target or echo trails with selectable time intervals and you can set Watchman Mode for security and safety. Watchman mode will allow you to set the radar to transmit for one minute; if the radar picks up a target within a guard zone it will sound an alarm. If no targets show up the unit will go into standby and start transmitting again after a period of time set by the user.
DFF1 NavNet Sounder Option- The Furuno DFF1 , optional Digital black box echosounder and a transducer, will add a Fishfinder to your NavNet system. The Furuno DFF1 sounder option is capable of 600 or 1,000 Watts rms and you will need to add a dual frequency 200/50kHz transducer. The DFF1 Sounder will include such features as bottom-lock, bottom zoom, A-scope and marker zoom.
BBWGPS NavNet GPS Sensor- The Furuno BBWGPS optional GPS/WAAS antenna can be added to any NavNet system for full chartplotter capabilities. When the BBWGPS is added you will have ability to mark and save upto 1,000 waypoints, 2,000 routes with maximum 35 points each, and 8,000 track log points. The Furuno Navnet vx2 1724CNT and 1734CNT will also allow you to navigate with north up, course up, or auto course up. The Navnet vx2 1724CNT and 1734CNT will have dedicated navigation screens such as; Nav data, course plot, steering and highway display. You can also overlay the radar data on the chartplotter ( PG500R Heading Sensor and BBWGPS required)..
Additional cables and a Network Hub may be required for systems with multiple displays and options.
