Extremely popular unit, many of our local fishermen love it because of the accurate TD conversions. NMEA 0183 allows interfacing to a radio or autopilot! The Furuno name is synonymous with accuracy & quality. Color 4.3” digital display and ability to save 10,000 waypoints make this the perfect GPS for commercial or recreational fishing.

Massive Memory and Accurate TD Conversions    Furuno’s GP33 is a long awaited, simple to operate, digital color display, that is a WAAS enabled gps that will store up to 100 routes of 30 points each, 3000 track points total, as well as 10,000 waypoints. This little power house gps offers 7 screens two of which you are able to customize, to display the data you would like to see.
Viewing and Interfacing The GP33’s waterproof display is built to stand up to tough marine conditions. The durable casing houses the bright easy to read, 4.3” digital screen that can be mounted on the included base or flush mounted with the template and screws that are also included. The compact GP33 is also NMEA 0183(optional cable required) and Furuno Can bus compatible to allow you to interface to other instruments like autopilot, and vhf radio. CAN bus is a communication protocol that shares multiple data and signals through a single backbone cable. You can simply connect any CAN bus devices onto the backbone cable to expand your network onboard. NavigationThe GP33 gives you a compact solution to accurately navigate to a waypoint or through a route. Using WAAS the 12 channel receiver you will be given similar accuracy to that of differential gps, the screens are easily gone through and finding and retrieving information are much easier than earlier versions. For the guy who still has a couple of TD’s and needs to convert them this unit would easily handle that once the correct offsets are entered into the menu settings.
