Pre loaded 3D Topo Maps on a Large 3" Diagonal Display
The Garmin Colorado 400t offers an innovative way to navigate outdoors. Garmin has packed the Colorado 400t with a ton of features, as well as upgraded hardware. Built into the rugged, waterproof case is a highly sensitive WAAS GPS receiver, electronic compass, barometric altimeter, temperature sensor and a 240 x 400 pixel, 3” diagonal color TFT display. The Colorado 400T units will be the first to feature Garmin’s new Rock ‘n Roller input wheel. The Rock ‘n Roller allows easy, one handed operation of your Colorado. With the Colorado 400T you will even be able to wirelessly send tracks, waypoints, routes, and geocaches to other Garmin Colorado handheld GPS units. Garmin has thought of just about everything.
The Colorado 400t GPS is loaded with the entire Garmin Topo USA 2008 detailed maps data. You can add an SD card to store the optional MapSource detailed maps like City Navigator and Bluechart. By adding the City Navigator NT software, the Garmin Colorado will then be able to guide you with on screen text, turn-by-turn directions for navigating in your vehicle. Garmin has also made many of its more popular Mapsource titles available on pre-loaded SD cards, including Bluechart Americas and City Navigator Europe. There is no need to connect your Colorado 400T to your PC for map uploading when using the pre-programmed cards.
The Colorado 400T features do not stop there. The Colorado 400t GPS is also compatible with the optional Garmin heart rate and speed/cadence sensor. You will also get 15 hours of continuous use off of 2 AA batteries. You can even setup different user profiles for auto, marine, recreation and geocaching situations.
