The Garmin Nuvi 1350T is an ultra slim navigation system with a large screen and a free lifetime of free traffic alerts. Right off the bat, the Nuvi 1350T features a slimmer case and a new updated user interface than previous Nuvi models. The internal lithium ion battery will keep the Garmin 1350T turned on for up to 4 hours away from a power source, allowing you to use it in the car and on foot. The high sensitivity GPS receiver with hotfix technology will ensure that whatever environment you are in you receive the fastest and most accurate GPS position possible.
Detailed Navteq maps for the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico are installed into every Nuvi 1350. You can set your destination in the Nuvi 1350T by using the 4.3” touch screen, choosing from a specific address or one of over 6 million Point of Interest from categories like Lodging, Food and Drink, Shopping, and more. The 1350T will guide you with both on screen and verbal turn by turn directions announcing street names along the way. If you take a wrong turn, the Garmin 1350T will recalculate your route and will quickly get you back on track. Also included is a Garmin FM traffic receiver for real time traffic information from Navteq. The Navteq traffic information is transmitted through an FM broadcast to your receiver allowing the unit to use that information and route you around any delays, including traffic jams, construction, or accidents. Garmin includes a lifetime subscription of the traffic service with the purchase of a 1350T. Use this link to view the list of cities where Navteq traffic service is available.
Some other features of the Nuvi 1350T include speed limit indicator for most major roads in the US, giving you the posted speed limit for the road you are travelling. Lane Assist will show an icon in the top left corner of the screen with the amount of lanes traveling in your direction and it will highlight the lane you need to be in for your next maneuver. “Where Am I?” gives you the closest address, intersection, police department, hospital, and gas stations at the tap of the screen. Garmin has introduced their CityXplorer optional downloads to further advance the Nuvi 1350’s pedestrian mode giving you important public transportation information. The Nuvi 1350T offers you extraordinary features with an affordable price.
The Garmin Nuvi 1350T replaces the Garmin Nuvi 255WT.
