Garmin Nuvi 200W - Wide Screen Navigation at an Affordable Price!

Large, 4.3” widescreen display, slim, ultra portable design, simple, easy to use operation, and most importantly an affordable price tag, the Garmin Nuvi 200W has it all! Garmin has added onto the Nuvi family with the Nuvi 200W; the W means wide screen, and 3.81”W x 2.25”H certainly fits that description. Not only is the display wide, it is also a high quality WQVGA (480 x 272 pixels) color TFT that is viewable in any lighting condition. With a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that lasts for up to 5 hours and a light 6.1 ounces, it will guide you around an unfamiliar city without power and without weighing you down. Garmin also built-in to the case a high sensitivity WAAS GPS receiver for excellent reception and satellite tracking, even around tall buildings.
The Nuvi 200W comes pre-loaded with the Garmin City Navigator NT mapping software, with detailed mapping provided from Navteq, for the continental U.S., Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Just when you thought the Nuvi had run out of room, Garmin stuffed it with over 6 million Points-of-Interest, with categories such as hotels, restaurants, banks/ATM, gas stations and many others. Just use the touch screen display to enter in the name of the POI or the address that you are traveling to, and the Nuvi will calculate the best route based on your choice of fastest time or shortest distance. You are guided with verbal turn-by-turn directions as well as text directions on the display. If you get off track, don’t worry the 200 Wide will recalculate the route and get you right back on track. You can even add custom points of interest into the database and set warnings when you are near them.
The Nuvi 200W has the travel kit built into the software which includes a JPEG picture viewer, world clock, currency converter, measurement converter and a calculator. Garmin also added an SD card slot so you can use an SD card for storing images. It will also accept the optional Garmin Travel Guide and Garmin Language guide to an SD card through on board SD memory card expansion slot.
