The Nuvi 265T is a small and powerful navigator by Garmin. Loaded with Bluetooth capabilities, a Free Lifetime Traffic service and detailed maps for the entire US, Canada and Puerto Rico, this unit is sure to keep you on track and in touch. As always Garmin uses only the newest technology available to make sure you get the best possible unit. The built-in high-sensitivity receiver uses HotFix technology which will decrease satellite acquisition time by predicting satellite location and Auto Time Zone which automatically adjusts your time zone during navigation.

With the purchase of a Nuvi 265T, the user is entitled to a free lifetime traffic service by Navteq. The traffic updates will keep you informed of traffic tie-ups or delays from construction on your route and prompt you to see if you would like to route around the problem area.

The Garmin Nuvi 265T is also Bluetooth compatible for hands-free connectivity to compatible Bluetooth cell phones. If that wasn’t enough, Garmin also added Text-to-Speech routing so that you can listen to the distance to your next turn, direction of your next turn and the name of the road you are turning onto. The Built-In lithium-ion battery will last up to four hours when removed from the charger and the MicroSD memory card slot allows for addition of any of Garmin’s international mapping packages. If you plan on traveling internationally, the 265 can help you with its world clock, currency and measurement converters. The Nuvi 265 uses Garmin Connect Photos to will allow you to tag your favorite locations with an image and even download images of popular sites with location from the Garmin Connect website. The 265T also has Garmin’s “Where Am I?” feature which will help you locate the closest hospital, police station, gas station, address and intersection to assist or help you in an emergency or help navigate you to your destination.

Garmin’s 265T has pre-loaded DEM maps which show you shaded terrain contours at zoom levels of 5 miles of more and with a built-in trip computer you can save time and fuel by knowing your correct mileage, max speed, total time and more.

The Garmin Nuvi 265T has replaced the Nuvi 260.
