The Nuvi 360 impressed me from the moment I turned it on. It found it's position
quickly and was ready to navigate wherever I wanted to go. The display is clear
and easy to see unless you are off angle and operation is so easy that even a
novice can operate it in no time. The Bluetooth phone operation works well, and
although it could be a little louder, setup was easy. The points of interest are
extensive and well categorized. I especially like being able to call a restaurant
to see what the wait time is right from the Nuvi 360. The mount is sturdy and easy
to get the unit in and out of, and the battery operation for use while outside my
car is great too.

The new Nuvi 360 is the perfect automotive GPS system with traveler’s assistant as well as a digital entertainment feature. The Nuvi 360 offers a 3.5” Diagonal TFT display, with great features such as a white backlight and anti-glare touch screen. The display also features 320 x 240 pixels and 64k colors for ultimate visibility no matter what the weather is. With a weight of only 5.1 oz. and measurement of 2.9”H x 3.9”W x .9”D, the 360 is able to fit comfortably in your pocket or purse for your busy on the go lifestyle.
The Garmin Nuvi is WAAS enabled and has a high sensitivity integrated GPS receiver allowing for optimal satellite signal. The Nuvi also includes a MCX connector port for an optional external GPS antenna connection. The 360 is powered by built-in lithium ion batteries for 4-8 hours of use away from the car. For automobile traveling, a 12-volt power adapter cable is provided.
The Nuvi 360 comes preloaded with City Navigator North America, which includes detailed road mapping of the entire U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. No Downloading is required! This mapping database includes nearly six million points of interest, which includes hotels, restaurants, gas stations, ATMs, and attractions. All of which is provided by NAVTEQ technology. Another great feature that the 360 offers is Text to Speech, which means you get automated and visual navigational instructions and warnings. For instance, the Nuvi will prompt you to “Turn right on Main St.” rather than "Turn right in 500 ft.". The Garmin Nuvi also offers both a 2D overhead view and a 3D mapping perspective.
The Garmin Nuvi 360 comes with Bluetooth® wireless technology capability with integrated microphone and speaker that enables users to make hands-free mobile phone calls. Users simply tap the screen to answer incoming calls, then speak directly into the unit’s built in microphone. Nuvi’s custom POI’s allow for personalized phone directories of restaurants, stores, and much more. Check this link for a list of compatible BlueTooth phones.
The Nuvi 360 can accept the optional Garmin GTM 10 or GTM-12 for traffic information from Total Traffic Network. The Total Traffic Network traffic information is transmitted through an FM broadcast to your GTM-10 or GTM-12 receiver allowing the Nuvi 360 to use that information and route you around any delays, including traffic jams, construction, or accidents. Another unique feature that the Nuvi 360 offers is a built-in travel kit menu, which includes such features as sample language guide, MP3 player with sample MP3’s, audible book player with sample audio books, picture viewer, world clock, currency & measurement converters, and a calculator. The Garmin 360 comes with 700 MBs of internal memory for any extra storage you might need and a SD memory card expansion slot.
