I loved the ease of use with the C340. It powers up quickly and it's so easy to just
plug in the address (touch-screen) you need to get to. It mounts right to your
windshield which is totally portable but very stable, I went to the Find Address
menu and put in my friend’s address the C340 routed my course in less than 10
seconds, before I knew it I was on my way. When I picked up my friend and her
son we were looking for a Deli and that was simple just by searching under
restaurants in the area. If you want a great hands-on unit to get you from
where you are to anywhere in the US then you can't go wrong this one. The
simplicity and easiness of this unit is all you need for under $500.00. Love
the unit and the completeness of the whole package it comes with. Included are
the windshield mount, 12 volt adapter, PC Cable (when updates are made by Garmin)

Easy To Use Navigation System with Text-To-Speech and Real-Time Traffic Capability!
The New Garmin Streetpilot c340 is the latest system to include all of the detailed mapping pre-installed for computer free navigation. The Garmin Streetpilot c340 features a 3.5” diagonal, QVGA color; touch screen display with a high 320 x 240 resolution.
The Streetpilot c340 has dual integrated speakers for superior quality on all Vocal directions. There are just two buttons on the Garmin c340 unit, a rotary knob for adjustable volume and a power on/off.
The Garmin Streetpilot c340 has a built-in 12-channel WAAS antenna for fast acquisitions and superior tracking. The internal Lithium-Ion battery will allow you to use the Streetpilot c340 away from a power source for 4-8 Hours, and can be recharged with the included 12v or optional 110v power cable. The c340 will also let you choose to view the maps from an overhead or 3D view.
Mapsource City Navigator
The entire Mapsource City Navigator North America NT database, which consists of Navteq's detailed maps for the entire U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada is preloaded onto the internal solid-state memory, so there is no need to download maps from your PC.
Entering your destination could not be any easier as Garmin has a brand new, and straightforward touch-screen user interface. You can enter your destination as an exact address or a specific Point of Interest, searching by categories such as Restaurants, ATM’s, Hotels, as well as many others.. Once you have selected your destination the c340 will do the rest, it will calculate the route from your current location and get you there safely. 
Once the route has been determined, the Streetpilot c340 will provide both vocal and on screen turn-by-turn guidance.
The c340 also features Text-To-Speech Guidance, where the c340 will verbally speak the name of the street that you are making your next turn onto. If you miss your turn, not to worry the Streetpilot c340 will recalculate your directions and get you back on track.
The Streetpilot c340 can accept the optional Garmin GTM 10 or GTM-12 for traffic information from Total Traffic Network. The Total Traffic Network traffic information is transmitted through an FM broadcast to your GTM-10 or GTM-12 receiver allowing the c340 to use that information and route you around any delays, including traffic jams, construction, or accidents. The Total Traffic Network is available in the following cities:
Garmin has also included a Detour feature so if you come up to unexpected traffic or construction, you can tap the detour button and the c340 will calculate a new route. Other features include memory for 500 waypoints and an MCX connection for an optional external antenna.
