The Gilsson usb to serial(DB9) adapter is great for individuals without a serial port on their pc or laptop. Just attach one end of the adapter to the serial cable from your gps and the other to your usb port to allow map and/or data transfer. The Gilsson usb to serial adapter can also be used with other pda, pc or printer(DB9) cables. Comes with the necessary drivers for Windows (not currently compatible with Windows Vista 64bit version) and Mac 9. Compatible with Garmin and Magellan products supplied with serial cables.
