The Icom M504 fixed mount marine VHF radio features Class D DSC and the capability to have a powerful 25W hailer at an affordable price. With features like a channel tuning knob and large built in speaker; as well as being built to IPX8 Waterproof specs, the IC-M504 is the right radio for your boat. The IC-M504 offers a large 168 character, dot matrix, LCD display for easy viewing even in rough seas. The generous LCD will provide a large number to display the current channel, and when connected with an NMEA compatible GPS it will show GPS and DSC position data. Class D DSC capability will not only send your information when you hit the distress button but it will also constantly monitor channel 70 for any incoming distress calls.  Position request and position report are also features that you will gain when you connect the IC-M504 to a NMEA GPS, this will allow you to keep track of your buddies’ position right on the IC-M504’s display and can even display the position on some compatible chartplotters. With Icom’s Force 5 Audio, the speaker built in to the IC-M504 will produce excellent sound quality for loud and clear reception. One of our favorite features of the IC-504 is the large tuning knob. Just turn the knob to quickly and easily tune to another channel without having to press a button for each channel.
