The Lowrance Point-1 is a 10Hz NMEA 2000 GPS WAAS antenna with high sensitivity for signal acquisition, with incredible position accuracy. Compatible with lowrance HDS models, it updates 10 times per second for the more accurate speed, course and off-track error. The Point-1 is also compact in size, waterproof and easy to flush-mount.

 

Built into the Point1 is a electronic compass that provides accurate heading, improved Course Over Ground at low speeds and with this data the HDS can display radar overlay on the chart with your compatible Lowrance radar.

 

To Connect the Point-1 to any HDS unit you will just need to connect it though NMEA 2000 for plug and play use. If you do not have a NMEA 2000 network on the boat, one will be required and can easily be added by purchasing a NMEA 2000 starter kit.
