The Magellan Roadmate 1700 is Magellan’s first 7” wide WGVA color touchscreen display. The roadmate 1700 is preloaded with Maps of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Adding to many of the great features found in previous Magellan Roadmate’s such as Auto Re-route, multiple destination routing, Highway Lane Assist and spoken street names. The 1700’s ultra clear 7” wide display will show 4x the detail of your standard GPS Unit, allow you to choose to view your surroundings in 2D or 3D and will automatically adjust color and contrast for optimal night viewing with Auto Night View. The Roadmate 1700 is powered by a 720mAh, Li-ion rechargeable battery, sports dimensions of 7.5”W x 4.17”H x .63”D and weighs in at only 10.5oz.
The Magellan 1700 is pre-loaded 6 million points of interest (P.O.I.) which will help you to easily locate gas stations, restaurants, ATM’s, lodging and so much more. To make finding your favorite locations even easier, Magellan has added One Touch, a favorites menu that allows you to personalize your unit to find your favorite restaurant, café or coffee shop.
