Chad McCumbee signs with MRD for remainder of year.

Veteran driver to help rookie team

MRD announces today that they have signed Chad McCumbee for the remainder of the 2007 truck series season.

Dave Malcolmson owner of MRD said of signing Chad McCumbee "We are very excited about being able to sign Chad. Steve and the guys have worked very hard this year and we are looking forward to putting together some good runs. With Chad jumping in the truck I know that we have a great opportunity to run up front and show what the team is capable of."

Chad McCumbee "I am thrilled with the opportunity to sign MRD/HAAS. I want to thank everyone over at MRD, especially Dave Malcolmson and HAAS for a chance to jump in there and help them for the rest of the season. I feel like we should have a good shot at running up front on a consistent basis toward the end of the year."

After running a partial schedule in 2006 with their best run coming at Gateway with an 11th place finish, MRD and McCumbee will reunite for the remainder of this season. With all of the new changes to the team TheGPSstore.com and Garmin will also come aboard for the remainder of the season supplying primary sponsorship for the truck.
