Northstar's Explorer 557 series chartplotters offer top notch performance in a compact and affordable unit. The 5" Full VGA color display is daylight viewable for open boat installations and the housing is rugged and waterproof. The Northstar 557 series feature 12 channel WAAS GPS receivers capable of providing accuracy up to 10 feet when receiving the WAAS signal. You can also store up to 3000 waypoints with up to 48 different icons for identification. Chart detail is available via optional c-Map MAX chart cards to show coastlines, channels, flashing buoy locations, spot depth soundings, aerial images, and more, and a gasoline fuel computer option is also available with the purchase of an optional sensor. Other GPS features include 5 savable tracklogs, dedicated waypoint and man overboard keys, variable backlighting, audible alarms, choice of North-up, course-up, or track-up display, NMEA data ouput and much more. 2 year warranty.
