The Raymarine A50 GPS Chartplotter is ideal for any small boat application. Raymarine preloaded the A50 with Navionics Silver charts for the entire continental US and also built-in a high sensitivity 12 channel WAAS GPS receiver so that you will be able to see exactly where you are with pinpoint accuracy.
The A50 can provide you with the most chart detail available with the addition of a Navionics Platinum chart. The Platinum chart provides 3-D underwater views and overhead satellite photo maps. Raymarine did not cut corners with the display either. They included a sunlight viewable 5” display with pixel perfect 640 x 480 screen resolution.
The Raymarine A 50 also has the ability to graphically display up-to-date animated weather forecasts from Sirius Satellite Radio’s new Marine Weather Service. Using the new Raymarine SR50 satellite weather receiver module, the Raymarine A50 display delivers state-of-the art forecast information including weather radar, storm tracks, sea surface temperature, wind, surface pressure, wave heights, lightning and much more. The Raymarine SR50 also turns your A50 into a SIRIUS Satellite Radio Tuner. Simply plug in the audio output into your Boat's stereo system and enjoy all Sirius has to offer.
