The Si-Tex T-2040-3 radar is a large screen color display paired with a 3.5’ Open Array with 4 kW of power with coverage up to 48 nautical miles.
Providing the captain of the vessel a large 10.4” color TFT LED display, the T2040-3
provides plenty of room to split the screen to view both large and short range targets and to view the images from the 3.5’ 4 kW open array. The T-2040-3 also provides a clear display allowing you to quickly identify targets with a trail indicating that they are in motion and the direction of that movement.
With the ability to spin at both 24 and 48 rpm the T-2040-3 radar can provide the higher 48 rpm rotation for river or high traffic operation and a slower 24 rpm rotation for open waters. If you are a fisherman an open array like the T-2040-3 should be able to spot birds with the gain turned up.
The T2040-3 3.5’ 4 kW Open Array radar is not for all boats but if you want to have a standalone large screen radar for you commercial or larger recreation vessel then this offering from Si-Tex is another one to consider.
