If you want more detail, the Standard Horizon CPN1010i can accept the new optional C-Map 4D cartography that offers both MAX and full 4D on one chart. Keep a broad overall view and a close-up, detailed range in a separate chart window at the same time with different zoom settings available in 2 chart windows at the same time. The waterproof, bonded touchscreen with zoom and pan mixed with dedicated CHART, TILT, ROTATE, MARK, and GOTO keys allows for a very intuitive and simple to use operation of all the charting functions right at your fingertips.
Welcome to the future. Anywhere you have WiFi signal you can check your email or surf the web at your helm. Loaded with Internet Explorer 6.0 and Windows Media Player, this Standard can entertain with streaming videos on the screen from the internet, a USB flash drive, or an external device connected to one of the 2 NTSC/PAL inputs and played through the built in speakers or through the vessel’s stereo system for entertainment at the helm without another TV. You can also use those video inputs for bilge or engine room monitoring with optional cameras and programmable intervals for them to appear on the screen automatically; just one more way the CPN1010i helps keep you safe. Turn your TV or another monitor into a repeater screen with the VGA output so your guests can feel like part of the navigating from the comfort of the salon.
Navigate to your favorite waypoint, periodically check your engine room, watch a DVD or other video source, check your email, surf the web, and play WMA files all from your helm chair. If you would like to see depth or fish, simply add the optional FF525 black box fish finder and transducer, or AIS unit, to stay out of harm’s way or catch that big one, and call your buddy’s DSC VHF radio and show his position right on Standard Horizon’s CPN1010i display as you tell him all about it.
