Mobile police patrol squad to be linked through GPS

Bangalore: The mobile patrol squad of the city police, Hoysala, will soon be linked to the Police Control Room through Global Positioning System (GPS).

The GPS used by the police will be a radio navigation system that will enable the control room track in real time the location and movements of all patrol vehicles on a digitised map of the city.
