New Mexico's Criminal Justice Advisory Council has made recommendations to help curve sex offenses. Included in the proposal is GPS surveillance system of sex offenders, faster DNA testing and more discretion for judges to order post-conviction DNA tests. That kind of test gave one El Paso man his life back.

Garmin and TomTom Battle it out.

US-based Garmin suing rival Dutch outfit TomTom. Garmin is calling for unspecified financial damages in their claim that TomTom is illegally using five US-patented Garmin technologies designed to "calculate which streets are important enough to a driver’s route to be displayed.
