Fully Networkable GPS/Sonar with 10” Touchscreen
The GPSMAP 7610xsv from Garmin is a large screen combination chartplotter/fishfinder that brings with it the ease of use of a pinch to zoom chartplotter, and the sounder capabilities of CHIRP, the most sophisticated technology available today.
A clear and very bright 10” chartplotter/fishfinder offering today’s marine navigator and fisherman the ease of operation that Garmin is known. The GPSMAP 7610 xsv includes the high tech fishfinding capability Garmin offers in their CHIRP sonar and includes both CHIRP DownVu and CHIRP SideVu, which both present picture like quality of the structure and fish as they move across the screen to 750 feet below and 500 feet left to right (dependant on water clarity and conditions). The Minn Kota and MotorGuide transducers are also supported.
Added benefits to the 7610xs include sonar recording capability that coordinates the sonar return to your boats position that is then saved and can be played back on your home computer using HomePort planning software as well as FUSION-Link enabling complete control of your compatible Fusion Marine Stereo right from your MFD. You can also control power, volume/mute, audio controls, source and more with compatible Polk, Rockford Fosgate and JL Audio systems through NMEA 2000. Position information is gathered through a 10 Hz GPS/GLONASS receiver which updates this information to your plotter 10 times per second for smooth movement on the screen. Both Garmin BlueChart G2 for the coastal U.S, and LakeVu HD covering 17000 fresh water lakes is are preloaded so navigation throughout most of the U.S. is covered. Of course the GPSMAP 7610xsv, like its brothers the 7608xsv and 7612xsv offers WIFI connectivity for Garmin Helm and Blue Chart Mobile apps. For the sailor add the GND 10 Black Box Bridge to the GPSMAP 7610xsv and connect the Nexus Instruments and sensors. Optional upgraded mapping can be added like, Bluechart G2 Vision or LakeVu Ultra HD both options would provide Garmin’s patented Auto Guidance. The GPSMAP 7610xsv is also fully network compatible through Garmin’s Marine Network or NMEA 2000.
Adding to the capability of the GPSMAP 7400, 7600, and 8000 series these plotters can control and stream video from the VIRB X/XE camera. You can now connect up to 5 VIRB X/XE cameras at one time. The screen of the chartplotter can be split to view up to four of the cameras at once, while each camera can be named for easy identification. Not only can you stream video but you actually gain control of each camera and its functions. G-Metrix data can be sent through a NMEA 2000 network and overlaid on the screen using the VIRB X/XE camera. Record video or take snapshots using your VIRB X/XE and with the Garmin Helm App you can save, share and view on the screen of your marine device.
If you are in the market for a larger screen combination chartplotter/fishfinder that offers ease of use, bright screen, and the best technology available in the marine industry Garmin’s GPSMAP 7610xsv may be the unit for you to look at.
