The advanced solid state 9 Axis AHRS, enables you to mount the new system virtually anywhere in any orientation. The advanced compass minimizes heading error and course deviation while maintaining the straight line ride that Garmin Reactor series pilots have always been known for. The Reactor Autopilot itself requires minimal commissioning and calibration after installation.

You have full control of Garmin’s Reactor 40 when paired with one of Garmin’s compatible MFD’s. When paired with Garmin’s G3 Charts, you can enjoy features like Auto-Guidance which automatically steers GPS courses. The GHP Reactor 40 Autopilot utilizes a feature called Intelligent Rudder Rate Technology (IRRT), which actually slows the rudder rate when the vessel is at high speeds and speeds up rudder rate when the vessel is at lower speeds to provide optimal performance and safety in all conditions.
