Available in two models- with strap or without strap (Berry Compliant), the 801 features a large 2.2" monochrome MIP display with an IPX7 water rating. This lightweight GPS is a mere 3.8 oz and operates on (2) AAA batteries (not included). The last thing you want to worry about is battery life. This is why Garmin has designed the Foretrex 801 to get up to 100 hours of battery life in default GPS mode and up to 1,000 hours in expedition mode.

The Garmin Foretrex 801 is compatible with the Garmin Explore App. Easy plan and review your adventures within the free smartphone app. The 801 can even display smart notifications when paired with your compatible smartphone or Garmin inReach satellite communicator (both sold separately).
