Black Box VHF Radio with Support for Up to 3 Remote CommandMic’s

In the market for a VHF with AIS Receiver yet space is limited on your vessel? Icom's M510BB is the solution! A compact black box with the ability to connect up to 3 CommandMic's (A single CommandMic is included with the Icom M510BB). The M510BB offers 25W of output power, internal GPS GNSS receiver with external GPS connection and the ability to interface via NMEA 2000 / 0183.

Safety First! a Internal GPS GNSS receiver provides position, while the integrated AIS receiver monitors the position of nearby AIS- equipped vessels providing you better situational awareness while on the open waters. View AIS information on the CommandMic display or on your compatible chartplotter via NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000. Class D DSC is easily located on the back of every CommandMic and once initiated will transmit an alert to nearby vessels of your MMSI* and GPS Position. (**MMSI number must be obtained and programmed for each vessel/radio.) In addition, to the DSC button on each CommandMic, the M510BB has a dedicated DSC remote Control (EN 300 338-8 compatible) terminal for connection to an external device allowing centralized emergency communication control.

A built in 15W amplifier enhances the audio output of a external hailer speaker (sold separately) and the one way RX Hailer enables you to broadcast radio traffic thru the hailer speaker while on the deck or tower or sound foghorns pattern from the hailer speaker. When paired with multiple CommandMics, intercom functions allow for one to all or one to one communications.

The unit is fully waterproof and features the unique AquaQuake draining system, which works by clearing water out of the speaker grill and also includes active noise cancelling by digitally removing background noise from both transmitting and receiving audio providing clear communication on what is normally a noisy environment.

Up to 3 HM195G CommandMics can be connected to the BlackBox RF unit. Simply mount the RF unit out of sight, up to 60'* away from the CommandMics. (**Two OPC-1541 cables are required for the 60 ft installation)
