The Garmin GTM 10 is an FM-band traffic receiver that, when installed between one’s automotive radio system and antenna, provides real-time traffic information to compatible Garmin GPS automotive navigation products.

Professional installation may be required, as the GTM 10 must connect to the vehicles stereo. This makes it a permanent installation and also very easy to hide the GTM 10 receiver so it is not visible. The GTM 10 will connect to your Garmin compatible unit with an included cable, right through the mini USB connection on the GPS. Using this data, compatible Garmin products can alert the user to local traffic tie-ups and display graphical map symbols for improved driver situational awareness. The GTM 10 is currently compatible with the StreetPilot 2720, StreetPilot 2730, StreetPilot 7200, Streetpilot 7500, nüvi 350 and the StreetPilot c340. Traffic information is available in the following cities:



Garmin gives you the first 15 Months of Traffic service free of charge and the service is approximately $60.00 a year there after.
