Black Box VHF Radio with Hailer and Multiple Station Capability
Garmin’s VHF 300 submersible (IPX7 Standards) VHF combines radio communication and offers multi station support with user selectable 1 or 25 watts of transmit power and provides boaters with the safety and convenience wanted and needed while exploring the open waters. The VHF 300 is the first in its class to offer a voicemail feature enhancing the safety of your trip.
With Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC) the VHF 300, via NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 connections, will provide emergency distress messages at the touch of a button and when interfaced with a compatible Chartplotter you’ll receive mayday signaling from other boats as well as a digital broadcast of their position. Add to that the two-way 30 Watt hailer system; the position tracking, which will allow you to keep tabs on up to 3 vessels in the area; the voicemail feature which is a pre-recorded message that can be sent out to any DSC radio as well as the ability to replay the last 90 seconds of any incoming voice transmission you will always feel safe on the water.
Operating just got easier
The VHF 300 operates via the included GHS 10 handset that allows full radio control from a remote location. With its 2” LCD Display, dedicated rotary key and 3 soft buttons you find yourself in full control. In addition, the multi station support allows you to add wired handsets throughout the vessel, without having to add additional receivers, which can then also be used as an on-board intercom.
