The Trawl Plot 12SD is the latest in a long line of Commercial Chart plotters that SI-TEX has produced, going back to the Fish 12. The Sitex Trawl Plot 12SD offers 12.1” XVGA display with 800 x 600 pixel count. The Trawl Plot also offers Easy Operation, Unlimited Storage, and GPS WAAS Positioning in a daylight viewable display that can expand into an all in one GPS Chart/Fishfinder, radar when optional sensors are added. Add to all this, a newly redesigned high speed processor, that gives you instant screen changes and blazing fast zoom in and outs.

The new Trawl Plot has the ability to hold 5000 waypoints and 50 routes of 100 points. Expand the memory using an SD card that will hold up to 80,000 track plots and up to 40,000 user points of and route data for quick recall and display as desired. The Trawl Plot 12SD, when using the C-Map Max/NT+ charting, has the “Guardian” programmable anti-grounding feature, that lets you know if your current course takes you within preset distance of charted shoals, obstructions or other areas where the water is too shallow for your vessel's draft. While additional memory is stored on SD cards, additional mapping is purchased on C-Card. The Trawl Plot 12 has 4 C-Card slots, allowing for multiple map cards.

With the C-Map charts in place, the Tide Info feature uses local information to calculate tide graph for local ports. A “Find” function uses the C-Map chart as well to locate nearest boatyard, bank, and even the closest shower. Add to this Joystick control of on-screen cursor to plot, scroll, pan, zoom and place waypoints, events and marks, and to control on-screen VRM and EBL. Rounding out the features of the Trawl Plot are standards like MOB and Go To Function, two NMEA 0183 data ports for interfacing data with other on board electronics, and the capability to zoom in to 180’.
