The FLIR M560 is a high-performance marine thermal imaging system designed to provide enhanced visibility and situational awareness in challenging conditions. Combining long-range thermal imaging with advanced visible-light capabilities, the FLIR M560 helps vessel operators identify people, vessels, navigation hazards, and other objects day or night.

With its stabilized multi-sensor platform, the FLIR M560 delivers clear imagery while underway, even in rough conditions. Its thermal camera can detect heat signatures in complete darkness, while the integrated visible camera provides detailed daylight imagery. This combination makes the FLIR M560 well suited for commercial vessels, law enforcement, search and rescue, and demanding recreational marine applications. Multi-Spectral color thermals combine visual elements of the camera to enhance users’ views and provide context to thermal scenes. The FLIR M560 can detect a human up to 4.9nm aware, NATO Targets up to 11.98nm away, and vessels up to 40.36nm away. FLIR's AI Target Tracking technology is designed specifically for maritime environments. The system can automatically detect and classify common marine objects, including vessels, buoys, watercraft, and people in the water. Once a target is selected, the FLIR M560 can automatically track it using dynamic pan-and-tilt control, helping operators maintain visual contact even in rough seas, crowded waterways, or during high-speed maneuvers. For situations requiring additional visual confirmation, the FLIR M560 includes a tight-beam 1000-lumen laser spotlight capable of illuminating targets up to approximately 1 km away under specified conditions.

The FLIR M560 is engineered for continuous operation in the marine environment. Its stabilized sensor platform allows operators to maintain a usable view while the vessel is underway, while thermal imaging provides an important additional layer of visibility when conventional cameras and human vision are limited. A cooled MWIR (mid wave infrared) sensor that’s equipped with an optical zoom lens for enhanced long-range detection with a 14.9x thermal zoom.
