Autopilot Core Pack with VRF – Add Pump and Controller!

Simrad has made available, to their autopilot users, a VRF Core Pack which includes the core components to upgrade their existing autopilot. This includes high-current NAC-3 autopilot computer, Precision-9 solid-state compass, plus all necessary NMEA 2000® cables and connectors.

To use the Simrad NAC-3 VRF Corepack you must have a hydraulic pump or mechanical drive unit to suit your steering system, and choose a dedicated autopilot controller or Simrad multifunction display and you now have Call for Help with Marine Electronics a complete autopilot system. Not designed for small boats the NAC-3 VRF Core Pack was constructed for IO or outboard powered boats 35' and greater. The Simrad NAC-3 VRF Core Pack eliminates the need for a mechanical rudder feedback unit making installation that much easier.

The NAC-3 VRF Core Pack is both NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 making its installation one of the easier ones considering its included hardware, automatic tuning and compass calibration. If your vessel is just in need of a computer and compass the NAC-3 VRF Core Pack should be a consideration for you.
