Packaged with each Edge 1030 Bundle are speed and cadence sensors as well as a Heart Rate Monitor providing accurate speed, distance, pedal strokes and heart rate. The Speed sensor attaches to the hub of either wheel and will self-calibrate when paired with your Edge and provide accurate speed and distance at all times. The Cadence sensor will fasten to any size crank arm and measure pedal strokes per minute providing you with data needed to ensure you are getting the most out of your ride. The included Heart Rate Monitor is designed with a comfortable and adjustable washable strap with a battery that lasts up to 3.5 years. The HRM will transmit real time Heart Rate data allowing you to keep up with your heart rate and take your performance to the next level!

Whether you’re riding on a road, gravel, and even a mountain the ride specific mapping will provide more visible routes helping you find what you need in a snap. You can pause your route and go off course to explore and when you’re ready to get back on track the off course recalculation feature will get you back on the right path. Never get lost with turn by turn directions with preloaded maps that have wider coverage than ever before, including worldwide MTB date from Trailforks. Also get elevation data, points of interest and searchable addresses.

Sync to your compatible smartphone, and you unlock connected features, including LiveTrack and GroupTrack, Smart notifications, Rider-to-rider messaging, bike alarm and built-in incident detection. The liveTrack feature allows you to stay connected letting friends and family receives your real-time location. With rider-to-rider messaging you’re able to send prewritten notes from your Edge directly to another Edge when connected to a compatible smartphone. You can even let your friends know if you’re behind or if you have a flat tire and are in need of assistance. If you’re out of cell phone reception you can pair with an Inreach device allowing you to view and reply to messages, share trip data and trigger interactive SOS alerts with an Inreach subscription.
