The Vesper Cortex M1 hub is a full Class B SOTDMA (Self-Organized Time Division Multiple Access)SmartAIS monitoring system. A built-in heading sensor is a key feature and alerts other vessels nearby of your course of direction and helps them more accurately predict potential collisions, perfect for anchor watch. An integrated no-loss splitter allows you to share a single antenna with another VHF offering optimum performance for your VHF and AIS functionalities minimizing the need for multiple antennas on board. Please note an H1 or H1P portable handset (sold separately) is required for full VHF capability.

NMEA 2000 connectivity makes it easier than ever to add the Cortex M1 hub to an existing NMEA 2000 network to share numeric data so all other NMEA components throughout the vessel benefit from the M1’s fast GPS signals. This intelligent hub can see things you can’t see and is intuitive enough to let you know when your anchor is dragging, knows when someone falls overboard, and can notify you if something is wrong whether you are on or off the vessel via a dedicated app through your smartphone or tablet.

This connectivity hub is engineered for low power consumption which is ideal for when you need to conserve power when anchored or on a long voyage. Galvanically isolated ports on the M1 hub create a conductive electrical path to protect your electronics and marine equipment from high or stray current damage, ground loops, and corrosion.
