Bring essential sailing information together with the Garmin GMI 40 Wired Sail Pack, a complete marine instrumentation package designed to provide clear, real-time information at the helm. This package includes two GMI 40 multifunction marine instruments, a wired Garmin gWind wind sensor, and an Airmar DST820 52 mm thru-hull smart transducer for depth, speed, and water temperature data.
Each GMI 40 features bright, high-resolution 4.3-inch touchscreen displays with an intuitive interface and customizable gauge layouts. Connected through an NMEA 2000 network, the displays can show wind, speed, depth, heading, engine, fuel, and other compatible marine data in an easy-to-read format.
The included gWind wired sensor uses a three-bladed propeller, twin-fin design, and optical sensing technology to provide accurate wind-speed and wind-angle information, including improved performance in lighter winds. The included GND 10 black box bridge connects the Nexus wind system with compatible Garmin and NMEA 2000 equipment.
The Airmar DST820 smart transducer combines depth, speed, and water-temperature sensing with attitude data. It provides depth readings to approximately 330 feet and outputs water-speed information at up to 5 Hz, and a transducer frequency at 235 kHz helping deliver smooth, responsive information through the network to your GMI40 displays.
