Fixed Mount VHF Radio with Integrated GPS and AIS Receiver
The Simrad RS40 Fixed Mount Marine VHF Radio features a dual channel AIS Receiver and Internal GPS Receiver. The AIS Receiver monitors the position of nearby AIS- equipped vessels allowing you better situational awareness. View AIS information on the RS40 VHF Radio display or on your compatible chartplotter via NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000. The integrated GPS Receiver allows your boat's precise GPS lat/long to be sent with DSC calls.
The removable fist mic can be front or rear mounted, allowing for installation in almost any mounting location. Add an optional HS40 wireless handset (Sold Separately) to control your radio from anywhere on board. Up to 2 remote handsets can be added to a single RS40 radio.
NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 compliant, the RS40 easily integrates into your existing marine setup!
